I just thought I'd share a deck randomizing technique I discovered tonight when using my Gold Foil deck.  I don't know where to I'd had quite a long day because we have guests for the weekend.  I was tired and I spilled some water on the floor.  After cleaning the water up I went about my day for a couple more hours.  Then----horror stricken---I noticed that the bag with my Star deck had been lying on the floor where I didn't see it and all the cards were totally saturated .  I picked it up but it may not be salvageable.  Good thing I have another one packed away.

,

Then I took out my Gold Foil deck and sat down to riffle the Gold Foil a few times, but when I did that the first riffle, the 10 second randomizer was born. My first thought was that I wished it would have been the one that got wet. But I wasn't very energetic for picking up the slippery plastic cards so here's what I named it:

Riffleohdammit---guaranteed 10 second deck randomizer for the Gold Foil deck.

Overhand is more manageable with this deck even though it's easy to riffle.

I have what I think of as the "Frog-Pond Randomizer." Whenever I try to riffle, I don't get one or two jumpers, I get a whole frog-pond of 'em, all over the floor.

I used riffleohdammit last night with my Tarot of Magical Correspondences deck. It’s slippery!

edit: Sorry to hear about your deck! It’s great that you have a backup.
