Can't share a post in forums

Hi, just wondering where I'm going wrong. I tried to share a post of mine in 'forums' with a friend but they are not allowed to access it. They are new, so haven't posted yet. Is this something to do with their status (aka new, so they to post first) or is this something that I'm doing wrong my end? Thanks 🙂

What area is your post? The reading and exchange areas and personal areas (like journals) need to be viewed by being logged in as a member and 5 posts minimum. This is for more privacy. Some other areas you just need to be logged in, some are public.

 

Edited to add: ~ Thinking about it some more, the Card-a-Day area is under a club which is private to members who have joined that for privacy reasons. Threads from there can only be seen by other members of that club, so they would need to join that club to see it.

Yes, it's in the journal area so one of the personal areas. The other user is new so likely 0 posts so that explains it. It's fine, I just copied and pasted the reading into an email for her, I was just wondering if I'd done anything wrong. 🙂

No you didn't do anything wrong at all 🙂 

Some sections have stronger privacy for readings and personal journals. If they get more active around the forum, they will be able to see all the areas and join the Card-a-Day club as well
