Ix Chel Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 40. Would the Queen of Wands describe herself as 'sentimental'? No, this description suits the Queen of Cups. The Queen of Wands is more energetic.
Starlight Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 40. Would the Queen of Wands describe herself as 'sentimental'? No, this description suits the Queen of Cups. The Queen of Wands is more energetic. I think from here on out, I'll just put this - ^ - in my comments, followed by "What Ix Chel said" :D
Jewel Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I do not think she would describe herself as sentimental, she would describe herself as passionate!
Cobweb Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 No, definitely not. She sees herself as a realist.
EmpyreanKnight Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Her warm, sociable, and sincerely affectionate nature might make succumb to nostalgia at times, but if she does it ain't for too long.
Cobweb Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Yes, I think she would describe herself as sentimental. As EmpyreanKnight says, she has a warm affectionate nature. I totally think she has a box for her children's first shoes and other memorabilia. I don't think she is blindly sentimental. She wouldn't let sentiment blind her to someone's faults or wrong actions, (nor would she let it interfere with her ambitions). She can recognise when to cut her losses and get out.
IndigoWaves Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 This Queen is a born story-teller who craves excitement and drama, which can lead her to get wrapped up in a romantic idealization. She's normally a very smart cookie, but when those forces combine with her innate sense of optimism and fiery intensity, she can run away with it all to a surprising degree. Pride may block her awareness or disclosure of it, but sentimentality can and sometimes does override her good judgement.
Shinsoo Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 Hmm. Sentimental...not so much. She doesn't strike me as the type to yearn for the past, or look on fondly about old memories, or get all teary-eyed during a drama movie. She'll have her moments of softness, like anyone else, but for the most part, she strikes me as forward-thinking, passionate, and very much spiritually in tune with her desires, which makes for a happy woman who is eager to take on new challenges.
Avalon Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Yes, I think all the Queens are sentimental to various degrees.
Oumee Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 not very often. Only when she drinks a wine with her best friend QoC and she is in sentimental mood, we can see one or two tears flowing on her cheeks, but in general she is not sentimental. She loves to life for current moment not for her past. O. <3 <3 <3
XAshleyMarie Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 I would say Yes in a warm and creative way. She’s be the type to do arts and crafts with the family pictures. She vibrates a warm attitude shared to everyone. I would say she’s sentimental but she’s not the type to cry and gush over things constantly. She has many irons in her fire so to speak but I’d say she’s very warm and giving
Guest Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 With a very few exceptions, there are times when everyone gets sentimental. If you ask the Queen of Wands if she is generally like that though, she would answer No. She can be passionate and thus wax extremely emotional at times, but she is the type whose fire is directed towards meeting goals (in work, love, family, etc) and getting results, who looks to fulfill the promises of the future and so does not care much about the past. She can definitely be a softie, but at her core she is a single-minded and focused individual who can immediately squash any sentimentality she may start to feel if she knows that she cannot indulge in it.
