Ix Chel Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 46. 'A logical decision is always the best, even if it hurts someone's feelings.' Which member of the Court is most likely to say this? The Queen of Swords. She looks at logic not at feelings.
EmpyreanKnight Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I immediately thought of the King of Swords, but I have a feeling that his Queen can be even more ruthless when the situation calls for it. This reminds me of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian and his Empress Theodora.

Starlight Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 I think if feelings are mentioned at all, it has to be the Queen. I'm not sure the King would even think about feelings.

As a Queen, she has a touch of Water — some conscious awareness of emotion... But feelings go right over the King's head; even when he gets helplessly ensnared by his own, he may deny their influence and avoid compassion, trying his damnedest to think it all away. (Each realization that he's human, not Spock, is a massive blow to his ego.) ;)

I was going to say the King of Swords but you're right feelings are the last thing on his mind So would definitely be the Queen of Swords
Oumee Posted September 27, 2018 Posted September 27, 2018 I would ask king of swords. Queen´s decision could be(in some cases) affected slightly with emotions (I know, I know, but despite of everything she is a woman), knight does not have a time for me - he is always out and page does not have enough knowlege. Guest Posted May 22, 2024 Posted May 22, 2024 The King of Swords says this best. At his most positive aspect, he strives for truth and fairness, which is bound to hurt some people. As the stern protector of law and order, he will also say: dura lex sed lex. At her best, the Queen of Swords would never resort to lies. Compared to the King though, she thinks that it is wiser to take heed of the human element in any decision. In a way she plays a more tactical/pragmatic form of politics, which is why they make the perfect power couple.
