Glass Owl Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 One Spread To Address All Of Your Spirit Guides (6) by KafkasGhost Source: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=131097 1.. How many spirit guides do I currently have? For each one, do the following spread: ..5.. ..4.. ..2.. ..3.. ..6.. 2 Tell me something about your personality. 3 Why are you with me (related; personal interest; "assigned")? 4 When is your presence the strongest (in what types of situations)? 5 Please tell me an event in which your presence or influence was particularly strong. 6 What would you like me to know at the moment? Then thank them for being here.
TheFeeLion Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I've done this one, it's awesome! It's a bit of a pain though when you get a double digit number for the first card and then some guides decide they want to talk more than once! Prepare yourself!
Trogon Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 So, I assume that with the first card, you just go by the number? So, if I pull a 5, or the Hierophant, it's saying I currently have 5 guides? Then, do you put that card back in the deck and do a new shuffle and layout for each of the guides? ETA; I actually went and looked at the original post that KafkasGhost did of this spread. While it answered the first question a bit, I'm still wondering if you do a new shuffle and draw for each Guide? I'm thinking that would probably be how I would do it. And if the first card was above 9, I'd probably use a pendulum to confirm the number ...

Then, do you put that card back in the deck and do a new shuffle and layout for each of the guides? That's is exactly what I did for mine. I got Death for how many guides I have. I already knew I presently have more than 4 guides so 13 was the logical answer for me. Then I pulled Temperance for how many wanted to speak. Intuitively I knew all of them wanted to speak but I confirmed by pulling a card for a yes/no answer using reversals. Some guides may want to say similar things so you might as well give each of them the whole deck to speak with ;) I like the idea of using a pendulum to confirm. Alas I have issues with using them :(
Trogon Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Hypothetical; If I draw the Fool, would it be 10 (the zero after "9"), or would it be 22 (where it falls at the aft end of the Major Arcana)?
TheFeeLion Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Hypothetical; If I draw the Fool, would it be 10 (the zero after "9"), or would it be 22 (where it falls at the aft end of the Major Arcana)? I'm not sure with that one. I would be inclined to ask for confirmation. Would be a good opportunity to pull a yes/no card or use a pendulum...
