Nabbed one! I couldn't not - this is so far from what I think of as my preferred artistic style, but it's just so cute and sweet!

 

And definitely seems like a great deck for a nine year old! Will it be her first deck? My first was that OTHER unicorn tarot (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/unicorn/) when I was 11 - I think I would have much preferred this one!

I bought her the small standard Trick or Tarot deck from Duck Soup last fall for Halloween although it didn't arrive in time.  But that deck is difficult to read as the RWS imagery is not as clear so I recently purchased the Delos Tarot for her and we are still waiting for it to arrive.  But as soon as I saw this one, and with the RWS imagery so clear and easy to read not to mention that it has such a fun kid vibe and she is mad crazy keen for unicorns, it was a must have and no brainer.  Wish I had seen this before I purchased the Delos, however I do like that deck too and now she as a couple of decks to learn and play with.  I am slowly teaching her the meanings, and she is catching on quickly.  :)

Any child who is crazy for unicorns is clearly a genius, so this doesn't surprise me at all. I take my hat off to her; I'm still working on memorising all the card meanings, and I've been at this for over a year now! But this one really does look like a great starter deck; maybe it'll help me learn them too XD

 

I'd love to be able to teach my younger half-sibs tarot, but my stepmother would, um, not take it well. Let's leave it at that!

 

I saw one reviewer mention that the art style reminded them of the Dame Darcy mermaid deck, which I don't have, but just glancing at it I can see where they were coming from. Definitely prefer the Crystal Unicorns, though!

*squeals* It's so cute! (And the pictures of them in the kigurumi are adorable as well!) I'll be passing on it myself, though that cloth is pretty tempting.

Omgs, I wish I would have seen this sooner.  I ordered the Amethyst set.  Delivery in June.  SO excited!
