What does the colored squares mean?

I see colored squares--some have one, some have lots and they are different colors. What does it all mean?

It's okay!

 

Those are the "ranks" which are based on either Admin/Mod status, Subscriber status, and number of posts for those not in the above categories.  So you move from Page -> Knight -> Queen -> King based on the number of posts you have, and the little yellow squares will match!

 

(I'm wondering if I should remove the ranking system however?)

Red is admin, blue is moderator, yellow is general and Subscriber :)
