This is just a heads up for anyone who has been thinking about this deck...the creator is moving to a new edition, and the first edition will only be available for purchase until March 31. It looks like the pre-order deck is about USD 15 more than the first edition, and includes update border designs and a two-piece box. The shipping is also slightly more expensive. It looks like the second edition price will go up by $5 after pre-orders. Also, with the new edition you can choose to include a printed guidebook (as opposed to the .pdf guidebook for the first edition) for an additional $10.

 

From what I can see, all the same cards are included in both versions, though the second edition has what the creator calls "gentle art updates."

 

So, if you want to order the first edition, or get a few dollars off the second edition by pre-ordering, now is a good time  ^-^

Haha, I should have known you hate white borders MG! This is such a beautiful deck though...if you're interested in it I wonder if you could trim them? You did such a nice job with the Druid Oracles!

In all honesty, R, i don't like it enough to go through the patience and pain of trimming. i am relieved i am not in love with the art, as i really don't enjoy trimming at all anymore, if i can avoid it. The last deck i trimmed was the Star Tarot, and that was such a hassle to trim. But those huge blue borders completely swallowed up Cathy's gorgeous art. It just Screamed to be liberated from that huge blue cage! ;D

I'm so glad you love it, Jewel!  <3 I am so happy I finally bought this one after admiring it for months. The edition I have came with a PDF guidebook. I know with the new edition that's available now, she was planning to have an optional hard copy of the guidebook available...although I just looked at the Etsy page and it looks like the creator isn't offering that anymore. So I suppose it's the PDF version for the current edition too. Honestly, I haven't even bothered to download my guidebook. The deck reads so intuitively! But I should check it out at some point  ^-^
