Do we always have to go through the verification steps, every time we post?

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if the forum is simply set this way . . . every time I post, I have to go through the two-step verification process, even though I'm logged in.

 

Is this normal? Just curious.

It'll do this only until you've hit 5 posts.  This is to prevent bots creating accounts just to spam, and it has lessened the impact greatly.

Edit: I'm going to see if I can't get that removed for Supporters though, since that seems silly!

I've removed it in the meantime, since it won't let me adjust for membergroups, and I've made the registration captcha just a tiny bit harder.

 

Hopefully that will be enough.  Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
