Wow! This warms my heart to see this thread here <3

I would love to participate this week. I think I'm going to try to start trying to make sense of my Wisdom of the Four Winds Oracle- it's a deck I've been extremely drawn to for a while and finally got recently, but I've yet to work with it and I have a feeling it will require some study.

On the tarot side, I think I'm going with one of my favorites, the Prisma Visions. That deck just has a way of speaking to me that gets deep inside. I think I need that right now.

Thanks, VG, for this thread, which will continue to mean so much to so many!

Hi guys!  Welcome to our new home!

Thanks again to Little Fang for agreeing to have us.  :)

For those of you who are new, and/or didn't participate at our former host site, Aeclectic Tarot here are a few rules.

Wait!  There are NO RULES!    8)

Okay, a few rules - we always abide by forum rules, and try to play nice in the DOTW sandbox.

Participants can read with any deck.  Tarot, Oracles, Lenormand, etc.  Using multiple decks is also fine.  It's also okay to read with the same deck for many weeks.

Talk as much or as little in the thread as you wish about your chosen deck(s), how you like them (or not).

Even though it says we pick decks and use them from Saturday to the following Friday, it is never too late to join in.  Also, when a deck is not working, or "meh", or a new shiny deck arrives feel free to change.  Keep in mind though, I don't always have time to get online on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but I will still try to keep the list up to date.

This is a very relaxed group, and we welcome everyone to come on in, the DOTW water is fine.  And no sharks.

Sometimes we do wander a bit off topic.  ;)

What did I forget?    Probably a few things.  :o

Okay, with all that out of the way, I'm continuing on my journey with the Universal Fantasy Tarot.

Thanks for being our manager doing this move and as always VG.

While relocating decks to a new shelf I found one I for the life of my could not remember even buying. It's the Epic tarot and looks really nice. LoS with no titles and really stunning art and a bit outside the box as LoS decks often are

Hi VG! The fact that we are all now here, starting a new thread, with you as our host with the most, is the BEST thing to happen this week. It's a little corner of familiar and I totally treasure it  :)

I'm in with the Tarot Decoratif this week. I don't know why I need to read with it this week. Mostly I pick a deck I feel I should give some airtime,  but over the last few days this deck has been shoving itself forward into to my consciousness.

I'm going to join in with The Fairy Tarot by Lo Scarabeo. I re-discovered it my cupboard and don't think I've ever read with it.

Thank you so much for continuing to host DotW for us VG! And I'm very glad we found a new home for us! :D Also, I've been meaning to ask how you're finding the Universal Fantasy Tarot? It looks awesome (being a fan of the fantasy genre). I admit, I might have missed it if you'd already posted something about it ...

Anyway, I'm going to be continuing my study of the Voyager Tarot, since I haven't gotten to finish going through the deck or even do a New Deck reading yet. I'm going to also start working with Dame Fortune's Wheel Tarot - a deck I purchased a while back but haven't used much.

Good morning! A new day and a new chapter for us all. I'm feeling so blessed that despite being down about today and what it means for AT, that I'm beginning our first thread and a continuation of our group. And all thanks to the folks here at TT&M, and of course VG who chose to continue being the captain of this awesome ship (Ok, so it's more like an awesome party boat, the kind with free drinks  ;))

So first and foremost, thank you VG and thank you TT&M staff.

I'm going to work with the Green Witch and Everyday Witch tarots. It feels right to start off with a special tarot, and I haven't connected with my Green Witch tarot in a long time, but it's always been my favorite of the Pagan tarot decks out there. And with all the hype and popularity still surrounding the Everyday Witch, I realized now is a good time to spend breaking my copy in.

Thank you VGimlet for loading up the U-Haul truck and getting us over here! :D

Starting on Sunday, I'll be using the Tarot of the Master paired with the Paracelsus Oracle.

Passing around a pot of coffee and a pot of tea for all who arrive...

Yes, thank you, VGimlet. I'm excited to participate for the first time. My schedule is a little crazy at the moment, so I'm not sure how much I'll post, but I'll do my best.

I'll be using the Rosetta Papyrus.

Happy Birthday to you all-- the birthday of the new Deck of the Week (do I see a Week #1 in the title??)

If this is truly Week #1, then this must be my second lifetime, because in my first lifetime I was there for the first birthday of Deck of the Week.

Thanks for nudging me towards the Death , Judgment, and now, re-entry as the Fool.

I'm signing up this week with Tarot of the Old Path.

Cheers, VGimlet and Little Fang and all of you, friends.

So good to see this thread here and both the familiar + new names :D

In celebration of Week 1 here on TT&M, and because I'm reading the Lon Milo book which I'm finding easy enough to understand, this week I'm taking the plunge into the Thoth deck and will be using it for my daily draws! Possibly also an interview since it's new and I haven't done much except look at the cards. I'm going on a trip this Sunday and I'm gonna be gone for about a week. It's possible I have to use the same decks into Week #2 so I'll have to think a bit about which other deck(s) I sign up with. Maybe the Sun & Moon since it's Thoth-inspired? But so far:

I've never done this before, but it sounds like a great idea!

I'm expecting the Deviant Moon to show up tomorrow, so I'll use that one (with the little centennial RWS in the tin, since I'm still learning and like to compare to that one). Also my one oracle deck, the Vintage Wisdom. I've been pulling one card a day from it and leaving it out where I can see it.

Thank you VG for helping us stay together and moving us gracefully into our new home!

My pick for this week (our first week in our new home!) is the Thea's Tarot, which I might have already started working with the minute it got here. I'm just really excited to have it, okay?  :P

I can't express how happy I am to be able to continue DOTW with the same group and no pause, thank you VG and everyone for working to make this happen!

For this week, I used my special deck randomizer (spreadsheet + random.org) and kept spinning until I came up with Pagan Cats. It felt right, a joyful deck that looks like it will also read well, just the thing for this week.

Hello everyone! It's so great we've all arrived safely. Thanks VG for the seamless move and for continuing to lead us, and thanks to Little Fang for hosting us!

It's lovely to see old faces, new faces, and new old faces (at least to me).

*pours tea and settles in. Thanks Bohiseed!

This week I'm working with my favourite, my soul deck, Tarot of the Hidden Realm ❤ This feels like the right time.

It feels so good to be here, carrying on with nary a blip :) Thanks VG for keeping us afloat and TT&Me for welcoming us into the harbor.

Oooh thanks for the coffee Bodhiseed *takes a big glug* I needed that.

I'm in with the Mary-El Tarot, which I'm finally brave enough to move to the number one top spot in my favourites, and will be joining Prisma with the Rosetta Papyrus. Excited to get started.

I drew dreadful cards (from last weeks decks) for this morning - Three of Swords, Two of Swords, Five of Cups... but it's a fresh start and a much brighter outlook for this evening. The Six of Cups, Six of Pentacles and the Queen of Cups? Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

Edit: My internet is being a four letter word today so it took about four attempts to post that. Hey Luxa, It looks like I stole your brain there :D

Haha, yeah!  Great minds...  I wish I was brave enough for Mary El, its so gorgeous!!  But I'm just not ready for it yet.  At Prisma Visions is moving rapidly to the top of my wish list, due to much enabling from quite a few of you here!  ;)

Also, I meant to say, DaughterofDanu - lovely decks to use together!

Looking forward to hearing how everyone gets on with their decks, as always :)

Yeah I'm curious to see how the balance of fantasy witch vs traditional witch goes. I see the Green Witch as being more reflective of the imagery that modern Pagans are drawn to.

I'm getting a lot of use out of both of them. I'm doing daily draws (and will be making a thread once I settle in to TT&M) as well as participating in some other on and off forum exercises. I think this is what I've been missing to keep me active with my decks. I do love the Everyday Witch's charm. There's something so lovely and inviting about it.

You are all very welcome, I'm glad to be here too!

No separate thread for readings yet, so go ahead and share here.  We'll see how it goes, and then see what LittleFang wants us to do at some point.  :)

Welcome back Flaxen and Chiriku, and welcome to Prism and DevonCarter!

Prism: Some weeks I only post the starter thread and barely keep it updated - life gets crazy!

FYI, The number down at the bottom left hand corner of the first post is our TOTAL number of weeks.  Just for fun.  Forgot that in my first post.  Feel free to add anything I forgot about the DOTW.

Things I also forgot: UGH...I wish I'd copied my deck list from AT before the forums closed.

Hey all :) After enjoying reading this thread for so long over on AT, I think I'd like to go ahead and join in if that's ok.

I got two new decks this week that I'm excited to give some undivided attention to; the Triple Goddess Tarot (the Lo Scarabeo one, by Jaymi Elford) and the Cosmic Reading Cards

I'm super interested in your take on this deck! Marchetti is usually too much for me, but this deck has me completely fascinated... or do I mean "enabled"...?
