Lemon Tart Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Learning Lenormand The Rider Card Number: 1 Energy: Positive Playing Card: 9 of Hearts Questions to consider: Why is the Rider on his Horse? How fast does a horse travel? Today we start with the first card in the deck, The Rider. The Rider is portrayed typically by a man riding a horse. Keeping in mind when this deck was created, in the 1800s, horseback riding was the fastest way of travel, and was the quickest way to deliver information. Knowing this, the rider typically shows up when there is news on the way. The Rider is also a traveler, so he could represent new people and new things. Considering him traveling on horseback, he is also a good card to see if you are asking about a potential trip, or move. Now, keep in mind that these cards are always read together. So if you had say, the Rider and House together, it could represent a new home, or news about family life. If you had the Rider and Heart together, he may suggest a new love/relationship. Keywords: News, Approach, Feedback, An Answer, Start (as in starting something new) Announcement, Movement, A Visitor, Updates, Change (especially change which is is brought to you). Something which is new, unfamiliar. What are some keywords you use to describe the Rider? Let's talk about the Rider! How do you see him in your readings? What does he mean to you?
DownUnderNZer Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 If describing a male "physically" - well endowed.
Lemon Tart Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 If describing a male "physically" - well endowed. LOL! ;D I never used him that way to describe someone! For descriptors, I usually think the rider is very athletic, but slender.
DownUnderNZer Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 Athlete is right or sporty, but "well endowed" is another attribute. If describing a male "physically" - well endowed. Lemon Tart Posted July 14, 2017 Author Posted July 14, 2017 I learn something new every day. I typically don't use Lenormand to describe people unless necessary to pick out someone in the GT, and it usually isn't sexual! I will keep this in mind though! ;D ;D ;D ;D Athlete is right or sporty, but "well endowed" is another attribute. If describing a male "physically" - well endowed. DaughterofDanu Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 I see the rider as news or information, quick travel, a visitor (often someone new). I could also see the rider as the mailman or a delivery person too. I'm so happy to see you posting here!
