My name is Ed Matuskey, and some of you may remember me from the Aeclectic Tarot forum where I posted for several years about the progress being made towards the steampunk-themed Tarot of Brass & Steam. In fact I give the forum a great deal of credit for helping to get the word out when I ran a successful Kickstarter a few years ago! Well I have great news: the deck is finished, and even as I type it's on a slow boat from China--I'm expecting to have them in hand end of May/beginning of June! That means US preorders are open! Anyone who orders by May 31st will get free shipping (shipping to start in mid June). Unfortunately it seems my subscription isn't activating fully so I can't post a link, but you can find the link on Facebook (look for "Tarot of Brass & Steam"), or you can Google the deck's homepage!

You are correct--42 of the 78 cards are illustrated (majors, court, and aces), but the pip cards aren't--they recycle their respective Ace illustration with a number superimposed on it, with the card name spelled out below like the others. I almost sold it as a "half tarot," but decided a lot of great decks did the same thing, so I would to! ;) Hope your son likes it! And thank you Little Fang! <3
