DownUnderNZer Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 MAY 5th, 2018 I did this reading a few weeks back after 3 weeks of waiting... When will the reimbursement be paid to replace my item? I was sitting down at a cafe or in a food court on this day and decided to try my hand at "timing" only using a system that was different to mine. I ended up doing a number of combinations as possible. I think that was actually done better than what I jotted down for the reading itself! ;D 02 09 27 28 05 For this I used these three cards: Clover(02)+Bouquet(09)+Tree(05). Letter and Man were not used as I do not see them as timing cards at all. I suppose the numbers could be used, but I didn't do that. I came up with. more or less. the following combining those numbers in different ways: E.g. 2+9/29/2+9+5 1) 2 weeks. 2) The month of May. 3) The 9th of May. 4) 9 weeks from now. 5) 29th of May. 6) 16th of May. 7) 5 months from now. With the 2 at the start, I initially thought "2 weeks" from now and with the 5 at the end, the month of May. If I was doing it the way I learned I would have likely gone with Tree "5" unless the first cards told me differently like if the RIDER was present or MICE.
DownUnderNZer Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 OUTCOME I was paid back yesterday. So... MAY 17th of 2018 at 2:50 pm. MY THOUGHTS Found my reading and saw that May was correct at least, but not the dates exactly although it was just over 2 weeks and one day off from May the 16th. Not too bad even though I would have liked something a bit more exact and especially a date E.g. 29th. So, it was a mixture of feelings for me. But then something happened today... I received a follow up on it and saw that the payment came from the USA. California to be precise. Which means that that payment was actually sent on: MAY 16th, 2018 at approximately 9:50 p.m. 16th came from this: 2+9+5 = 16 and with "5" at the end - MAY. I might try this way out again in the future rather than covering all my bases to see how it goes with combining this and that. <3 <3 <3
DownUnderNZer Posted May 18, 2018 Author Posted May 18, 2018 THE MAN The payment was issued by a male who handled it all once it landed in the Accounts section.

Saturn Celeste Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Your knowledge of Lenormand is an inspiration to me, DownUnderNZer[/member]. [emoji4] Me too, I second the thought, DownUnderNZer.
DownUnderNZer Posted May 24, 2018 Author Posted May 24, 2018 Not sure how to "multi-quote"...sorry. Thanks for the positive remarks Shivani and SaturnCeleste. No harm in trying out new and different things that is for sure or working out what works or does not work. <3
pacificwaters Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Somehow I never had the confidence to try timing in Lenormands. DownUnderNZer[/member] your post and the examples of permutations and combinations have given me something to munch on as I try my hand at timing
DownUnderNZer Posted June 19, 2018 Author Posted June 19, 2018 pacificwaters No harm in giving things a go that is for sure and since then I have been delving into my own thing. Been working on a spread (or five) that can do a number of things in it and have worked out (within it) some dates going from the past, near, and into the future between 2 weeks and 2 months (even beyond) so will see how it all pans out from that - related to the question and content of those cards. For example, I think there is going to be a "split up" or "end of a contract", but it seems to go back as far as 8 months or even 8 years (issues) and will go through legalities or court between 2 weeks and 2 months and as for the future....can not quite recall the timing there, but the most specific dates were between the 19th and 26th the month which brought me to July and August. Actually, I will go and get some of the reading and post it below... TAKEN FROM THAT READING... My Question: What important or relevant email/mail/documents should I expect to deal with in the coming weeks or months? (Not expecting anything really). I was thinking 2 weeks to a few months - so near to not too far future. TIMING: If looking at TIMING - there are a number of cards in all those lines that give TIMING like Fox, House, Tower, Book. Clover, Coffin, and Stars. I would maybe look at it like this: Legal and/or any issues may stem back as far as 4 years and/or recent as 4 days to 4 months. Whatever is coming up in the near future is between 2 days, 2 weeks to 2 months and could be between the 19th and 26th of that month. So, maybe the 19th of June right through to the July or August. As for the man in question, whatever started ending for him likely goes as far back as 8 months or the month of August - up to 8 years. WHAT HAPPENED WITHIN 2 DAYS OF THE READING - SOME ROUGH DATES: 1) A cousin wanting family to return next year for meetings and a reunion after two recent funerals that took place between FUNERALS (PAST): Between the 19th and 27th of May, 2018. Our funerals last 3 days at a time and then 2 to 7 days after the burial itself - depends. TWO PARTY ISSUES (PAST): The issues started between May 23rd and June 8th, 2018. Maybe even going back months actually because there have been times of stagnancy and no communication from one with the other - only no one knew about it until it "leaked intentionally". So, with "1" that concern for my cousin actually cropped up around 14 days post the funerals not quite a 4 yet 4 is all about home. And maybe 14 could be used as a 2 week reference or fortnight. No limits when one wants to evolve or try out new things, Perhaps I shoud have factored in 14 as a number not just 4. In regards to " 2" it is all about "litigation" and "legal action" and what has been going on has been going on for some months, but not long term. Not sure if "4" connects to the timing unless those issues go back 4 months - nothing yet has come out like that except that before we found out, "behind the scenes", conflict was ongoing for a few weeks. So, 14 could be 14 days, however, only one party right now has stated that a few days before June 1st was when things started to really take a turn for the worse. I found out around June the 12th when it came out on Social Media. Again, maybe I should have factored 14 as a number in it and not just 4, but whatever took place before June 1st was not the start. It does go back a bit more only we have not been told anything concrete. Still seeing what else unfolds because I still feel that there is going to be a breakup or divorce. I do not know who exactly, but time will tell or not. Either that or the end of a contract. Somehow I never had the confidence to try timing in Lenormands. pacificwaters Posted June 28, 2018 Posted June 28, 2018 Sorry I was traveling and therefore couldnt get onto this post earlier. Thank you for further elucidation, but this just raised a question within Rana George's book (I refer to this book since this is the only one i have as of now) allocates time periods as in week/months/days to certain cards. Do you pay attention to these allocations (her book or any other) or like i saw in your posts you totally keep your self focused to the numerical equivalent of the cards and keep dabbling around their combinations...? What has been your observation about self derieved dates v/s those derived from pointers in these reference books?
DownUnderNZer Posted June 29, 2018 Author Posted June 29, 2018 I have always been quite good with timing, or within the time frame, as something would start even if it did not quite finish. Not that I have done it much and it depends on the question. The method I use is not really specific dates. I think one time (or two) something did happen - just not in the time frame. However, the Lenormand might not have been used then or by itself, but different sets of Oracle cards. Timing for me was not taught in books to start with as I had two German women as teachers, however, when I got into the French system more than the German that is when I followed Steinbach's teachings with timing. She fine-tuned everything for me really. I found the timing for the question I posted here very on to it although I tried every friggin combination under the sun to see what I could come up with - just to see. So, maybe I covered every possibility. Right now, I am working out a way to do timing using a trial and error method to come up with something that is hopefully more specific than days, weeks, or months, so as yet I am still testing it and waiting to see what happens over the next 4 weeks as I think that is the end of 2 months - other dates too. But not just that - I want to also cover a lot more in a spread using less cards than a GT. Way less! It will still be informative yet cover a broader scope. A day or two ago I came up with something whilst having coffee, just need to tweak it somewhat. So with it, "timing" will be used, and a number of areas within the spread itself will be covered and kind of in layers, if that makes sense. I just have to work out the best way to do it. Adios to 5 or 7 liners that most would read from left to right and then place emphasis on the last card as the ultimate outcome. I know some do not think spreads are necessary and it is true, but sometimes those spreads are just boring. >:D Time for the Lenormand to be reinvented a little....
