So it seems not all of those codes shoe up on an iPad in the tapatalk app...unless I'm probably doing something wrong

I've noticed that, tapatalk doesn't understand all the codes that the forum uses.

If you use emoji on your device keyboard, it will show up in the forum and on tapatalk!

 

But some of the smilies on Aeclectic also didn't used to show up on tapatalk, like the thumbsup and the party ones. I think if a forum has custom ones (like the flashing heart) it won't show there. keyboard emoji work everywhere :)

I discovered it the other day that the forum software works really well with current emoji layouts (they are an industry standardised thing, so it should).
