Daily Spreads

Featured Replies

I usually just pull one tarot card and one oracle card for my daily draws, but when I have time I like to use something like these:

What Surrounds Me (cards are laid out in an "X" shape):

2 ~~~ 3

~~ 1~~

4 ~~~ 5

Card one represents me - where I am mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Cards 2 through 5 represent people, situations, things, etc. that will affect me in some way that day.

Head, Heart and Hands Spread:

1. What do I need to know today?

2. What do I need to embrace today?

3. What do I need to do today?

Please share your favorite daily spreads when you read for yourself!

Those are both really good. For a daily, I've found that this works well, especially at work (3 cards in a line);

1) Beginning

2) Middle

3) End

And, of course, as I've been posting elsewhere, I'm using a variation of the Issue/Blockage/Advice for my daily readings on working through an on-going issue for myself;

1) Issue for the day

2) Blockage

3) To contemplate as needed through the day

Those look good, Trogon. I like simple and uncomplicated for daily draws, and those (while still giving you plenty to think about), fit the bill!

These look like some great daily draws for me to try out. ☺

Here is a 3-card daily spread I use:

1. Today's Focus

2. Look for This

3. Avoid This

The daily spread I tweaked to better serve my reading style and currently use nowadays is:

1.2.3.

1- Me today

2- What will the day bring

3- Guidance

my favorite spread has been the past-present-future spreads for a while! simple and helpful ☺️

Thanks for sharing those, everyone. I usually do the Past Influences/Present Circumstances/Future Results spread, but I've now tried adding a fourth card per the LWB included in the LIminal 11 decks. So the reading is Past / Present / Future / Advice

I like your X spread.

i currently do a tarot and an oracle plus i include the bottom of the deck cards for insight as to where todays energy has come from. I ask more questions to clarify more if needed.

My simple daily spread can change per need. I simply ask "What will today be like?" And draw a card. If that card isn't enough I'll draw two more. Sometimes I'll draw more to place on top of specific cards to get more information too. Really depends on what I need for that day.

My variation of the three-card daily reading: the 'everyday carry' spread, or EDC.  Visualize a purse/tote/handbag.

1. What do I need to leave behind/put aside today?

2. What do I need to bring with me?

3. What's lurking in the bottom of the bag that I've forgotten about? (and optional clarifier, because I can: what should I do about that!)

Came up with this because I have a lot of baggage. Sometimes it's just not helpful and you need to just focus on the essentials. It's easy to forget things, though. What do you need to be reminded of? When you're fishing about in the bottom of your bag, the last thing you want to find is a forgotten banana. But maybe you'll find that note you wrote yourself about calling someone, or that cookie you bought to save for later.
