This week I'll be using the Tarot in Wonderland.  Not sure how it will go, I am not in the mood for a sweet tarot, but we'll see.

I think this week I'm using my Starchild Tarot. I have a lot of free days this upcoming week, so I feel like its a good time to really work with it.

July IS racing by - June went fast, but July...crazy....

I am not so enamored of the Tarot in Wonderland.  The art doesn't speak to me.  Ah well.

Re: The Lynd Ward Tarot

This morning, I am shocked by the visual connection between the Emperor and Death.

I know their numbers are linked and feel like some study into the connection between these two cards would do me some good today.

Re: The Lynd Ward Tarot

Today's card reminds me very much of a line written by Oscar Wilde:

"... we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."

Re: The Lynd Ward Tarot

The Wheel is my birth card (along with the Sun and Magician). I always look for it in a new deck and am usually underwhelmed with what I find. This one, however, is a winner. In fact, it might be my very favorite number X. It's visceral. The rider is not in control. I can feel it.

Another thing -- I dig this font! According to the artist: "The card titles are set in P22 Vienna Black, part of a font family based on the typefaces produced by the Vienna Workshop (Wiener Werkstätte). Its Art Nouveau and Expressionist style makes it the perfect face to accompany Ward’s deeply German-influenced artwork."
