Setting the time

Another niggling issue I need help with:

How do we set the correct time for where we are?

It says 9 am right now but it's actually 3 pm where I am.

To set the forum time, follow these instructions:

 

1. Click on the Profile menu in the menu bar at the top of the site.

 

2. On the left panel, under the Modify Profile section, click on Look and Layout.

 

3. On the right, look for the Time Offset textbox. Put the appropriate value. You may click on the auto detect link on the right of the box to see what the site recommends for your time zone and check if it's the correct one later.

 

4. Click on the Change Profile button to save your changes.

 

5. Check if the site now displays the correct local time. If it doesn't, repeat Steps 1 to 4 and change the Time Offset value until you get the correct time.
