ToadieOdie Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Hello! I write blog. It's mostly an online journal where I write about whatever is currently on my mind. This usually means I'm talking about managing my special needs, managing my sons' special needs, sharing the creative process of whatever project I've got currently going on, mental health in general, occasionally games, AND using tarot in various ways. And this is what I wanted to share here with you all. The Chaos Pen Challenges is a Tarot based writing challenge that I've been running for awhile now. Throughout the year it's posted weekly on Mondays. Then during NaNoWriMo and Camp NaNo I post a daily Chaos Pen NaNo Bite, which is also a Tarot based writing challenge. The blog's category thread for this can be found here for those interested in checking it out. The Chaos Rally is something I've been running for sometime, but I've only recently included a Tarot reading to go along with it. It's a weekly forecast every Friday that also includes a motivational music playlist. That category thread can be found here if you'd like to check it out. And now for the latest feature that will be launching next week, every Thursday, where I'll be exploring the Tarot one card at a time as a companion to my Chaos Pen Challenges. The intent here is to give writers that been using my challenges a chance to look at a set of different versions of the card and develop a feel for it, come up with their own keyword or key phrase, and then be prompted with a free write activity based on the card. Once I'm done with that series, I plan to cycle back through and discuss other writer topics using the cards, such as character development, setting, plot points, etc. If you're interested in following this series of posts, you can find it here. Feedback and input is always welcome. :)
