Thanks Flaxen[/member] for posting these! I don't really do Facebook, so I wasn't aware that he was creating another deck. Any more info about this release? Or is it still in the very early stages?

It's loosely based on RWS, I have been following it's birth on his FB for a while. He can't decide on a name for it though and is taking suggestions! He suggested calling it the "Ambience Tarot" the other day and all his followers hated it  ;D So it is yet to be named but is gorgeous!  <3

 

No release details as yet, I think it's still got quite a way to go

This one is stunning. I like all his decks to be fair but comparing this to the Gilded and Tarot of Dreams it's really  clear how his art has progressed.

he has announced today it's going to be called the Ciro Marchetti Tarot, from his announcement....

 

Well after lots of suggestions, a leading voice in the tarot publishing world thought this title would be most appropriate. Not the most original solution, but ultimately it does reflect the project, namely a pretty personal take on many of the cards. So thats it, the child has a name

l have the Gilded Tarot and love it. It's only my opinion, but l do think this is the best he has done.  Never been enamoured by his other tarots, but l know they have a big following.

I really like Legacy of the Divine, it's one of the handful of decks I actually use. This looks like it could join it!

I'm particularly drawn to his Tarot of Dreams, partly because the attributions incorporated into the images are help my learning, but the images are most compelling to me as well.

It's amazing how Marchetti's art has evolved. I really like the level of detail in this one.

Ditto.  I own Legacy of the Divine and Tarot of Dreams (used to have the Gilded but gave it to a friend) as I love his art, it is great for kick starting intuition and for meditation.  They function well as gateways into this world he has created and this new deck is another expansion to it.  I hope this deck ends up being published as mass market.
