With the success of the Vampirella Tarot, it seems like Dynamite is poised to mercilessly impose upon the world a deck featuring another ravishing beauty. While some might have reasons to question the deck's robustness as a cartomantic system, there's no doubt that like its predecessor, it's still going to have fans clamoring for it with bated breath.

The Lore of Red Sonja

 

Red Sonja, the "She-Devil with a Sword", is a fictional character, a high fantasy sword and sorcery heroine based on a character created by Robert E. Howard and adapted for comics by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith. She first appeared in Conan the Barbarian #23 (Marvel Comics). Red Sonja has become the archetypical example of the fantasy figure of a fierce and stunningly beautiful female barbarian.
