EmpyreanKnight Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Admit it, for most of us, a good number of the questions we get center on good ole l'amour. I've always used a dependable (tho rather large) spread in gauging the current and future states of the relationship between two people. With minor modifications I also use this to discern the potential compatibility between a couple of souls. It's not always set in stone tho - if I want more details regarding an area of concern I draw more cards (or sometimes even a separate mini-spread). While it has served me in good stead, I'm still quite curious about what the other readers here use for love and relationship readings. I reckon that I may glean something from these, maybe use them as part of my repertoire after a few tweaks. So yeah, what are your favorite romance spreads?
EmpyreanKnight Posted August 10, 2018 Author Posted August 10, 2018 I've posted mine months before in a separate thread HERE, but for your convenience I'm going to display it here too: LOVE SPREAD ----1----------2---- -----------3---------- -4----------------5- ---------------------- ---6-------'----7--- ---------------------- -----------8---------- 1. Represents the querent 2. Represents the partner 3. The overall energy of the relationship? 4. How the querent sees the partner and the feelings they have towards the other party 5. How the partner sees the querent 6. The couple's strength 7. The relationship's pitfall 8. Potential Outcome
Marisa Kirisame Posted August 13, 2018 Posted August 13, 2018 This is a spread based on a lemniscate symbol. Although it is present in Aeclectic Tarot archives as Lillith0315's creation, it is hard to asociate with a single author - this spread is spread all around, appearing in different sources in many variations by it's drawing order, and was probably thought of by many tarotists before, given the symbol's fame. The version I'm sharing is the one with extra cards that signify each of the partners: 37101482695 1 and 2 signify each of the partners; 3 and 7 are the conscious, the seen, the actions of each partner; 9 and 5 are the subconscious of each partner, their intentions; 4 and 8 are their closest features, the ones that form their connection; 10 and 6 are their most distant points, the ones that separate them. While it's not my favourite, I like this as a relationship spread for it's symbolism, as well as great effectiveness, though it has nearly zero significance for divinations. The spread I actually like the most isn't specifically made for relationship readings, but it can be used for some of relationship-related questions.
