@Hazel, lovely to hear about your update. Both your process and and your interpretations seem spot on to me. As you settle into the deck, you will develop a relationship with each card, that will grow each time you work with it, so patience and fulfilling are both great adjectives. I really like your interpretation of the Four of Stones - it is one of my favorite cards in the whole deck, and for readings I have done, it can sometimes represent a fragile/vulnerable piece of ourselves that can be buried (protected), that we are empowered to gingerly retrieve and cultivate in our work. Always happy to see fellow travelers on the path.

Thank you for your feedback. I am happy my take on things made sense to you. This deck really speaks to me, and although I am still learning the traditional deck as well, this deck touches me in ways other decks don't.

@Hazel, I have a very similar experience with this deck, there is something very raw, direct, and magical about the way in reveals the energy behind things to me.

Yes! My Wildwood deck has arrived.I am over the moon with them. Beautiful cards and I am looking forward reading the book and getting familiar with the cards.

I am still learning tarot and have a basic deck that I am using for my lessons. The books I am using are the Kitchen Tablet tarot and Joan Bunning.

Because I am still learning I have not done a lot of readings and my ritual is to draw one card a day and write things down about how I see the card. When I have a new deck I do interview the deck to learn how a particular deck.

I have asked the cards the following questions:

1.Tell me about yourself.  Ten of Vessels

2.What are you here to teach me? Four of Stones

3.How can I best learn and collaborate with you? Three of Stones

1. Without looking at the description I see the waterfall as a source of information that dribbles into the bowls providing me with information divided into smaller segments. The bowls stand for more insight into my healing process and how to gain more to achieve this. The bowls tell me that this learning curve is a slow fulfilling happy journey and it requires patience.

2. I see a newborn Fawn sheltering herself. The markings on the stones are there for her protection. It is about building a foundation for myself, self-knowledge and confidence. The foundation and self-knowledge has been a major theme during my life. Now, I need to work on some confidence in certain area's in my life.

3.The green woman is rooted into the earth drawing up the energy from the earth to gain strength.

So, for me the deck is a confirmation that I am on the right path and continue my relationship with the Divine. The deck has showed me what  I need to focus on and using this deck will help me do this.

I hope it makes sense and would like some feedback on the cards?

Hi Hazel! I really like your takes on these cards, and it's hard to disagree with the reality of the meanings. I could maybe add some extra perspectives, though...

Ten of Vessels speaks to me of exuberance, and the happiness that comes through enthusiasm and inner contentment. I'd see this as saying that the deck is very much its own personality (rather than being dependent on ours), and that it won't hold back its wisdom; a simple, short answer isn't enough for it! See one meaning, and more flow in behind it. You may see one pool of insight settling in the vessel, but the water will soon be replaced by more coming in from above. Everything is connected, and everything flows.

Four of Stones: Thre's a lot in this card, and I like @SilverLeaf's take on it a lot! Protection takes all sorts of forms: it can be a safe space to learn and develop ourselves (which I think is the primary meaning here), or it can teach us the value of protecting ourselves from things we are not yet ready for, by defining a boundary to our existence. It can also remind us of the need to shelter others (from the truth, or from possible mistakes?). Are you the fawn, or the stones? The whole concept of protectiveness, and gentle guidance with care for the one needing help, is at the core of Tarot.

Three of Stones: I love this card, for this position! Creativity is about the spontaneous manifestation of what we want to see in the world, unbound by rules and doctrines. It's saying here, quite clearly, to explore not just the cards but also your own responses to them. Use them intuitively, come to your own conclusions on what they mean, and let the hidden nature of the Wildwood flow through you. Don't be afraid of stepping off the path; learn to master the wilds, and you can bend them to your needs. Better than that, actually - the Wilwood will work with you to create what is needed.

@Wanderer,

I love your extra perspectives on the cards. I sometimes don't really know how to put things into words so this really helps me! I realise that with this deck I need to go slow and study the cards meditate on them.  I so look forward to getting to know this deck and working with it.
