Angel Numbers

Has anyone heard of or seen angel numbers? I've been seeing them regularly for over a year now and have definitely become more spiritual. The most common, and the starting point for most people I believe, is 1111, regularly depicted as 11:11. When I see them, I do feel a sense of peace and ease knowing that these synchronicities are messages from angels.

 

The only (and best) source I know for angel numbers is the Index by Joanne Sacred Scribes.

I actually never heard of the term angel numbers, but after reading your comment I googled it and noticed, that I have one, too.

 

My number is 3. I have three guardian angle, I am used to wear three rings, have three piercings, I am used to turn my music up and down to numbers that can be divided with three and so on

 

I feel at ease, when a number can be divided by three and feel unpleasant if not.

 

That much about my experience, sorry that I can`t help you with sources suggesstions...

It is said that we as a whole have a heavenly attendant around us constantly. They see what we are doing and how we are getting along things. @Lady Shang Yes, actually, I was searching through the Spirituality section because I wanted to ask the same thing and didn't want to be redundant 😉 My experiences started after my grandfather passed. He had this obsession with 111. He would wake up at 1:11 am most nights and see it everywhere. This was before widely available internet, so he never got any more information or really understood. He did write a book though, and after he passed, I thought it would be a great gift for my family to type the manuscript and have it bound and printed using one of those "publish it yourself" kind of websites. While I was typing up the chapter about him seeing the numbers, I looked down and it was 1:11 lol. So, for me, 1:11 has always felt like him communicating with me. When my aunt unexpectedly passed away a few years ago, we were gathered around as she took her final breaths, and I saw a flickering on one of the machines in her hospital room. Whatever the machine was measuring, one of the values was 1.11, and it was flashing. Then her heart flatlined. I always felt like that was him coming to get her. A beautiful thought.

 

The biggest ones for me have been the 1s, 911, 222, and 616. I do accounts payable, so I'm drowning in numbers all the time, but I see them on clocks, car tags, at work, receipts, barcodes...everywhere. In my experience, 911 most resonates to me as the same meaning as the 9 of wands. Keep pushing...you're almost there...don't give up...get over the hump. I agree with @omgherryan about 222...like the universe is working it out for your best benefit. I just recently started seeing 616 in the last year. 6s pertain to home, domesticity, love, family...all that jazz, then the 1 in the middle speaks of the new. The Joanne Sacred Scribes index you mentioned says that this could mean a new romance is coming, or an old flame will be returning to your life. Given my year, this is perfectly applicable, but in my experience, I'll see it alot, then my estranged husband WILL come back around, but it a twisted sort of energy. It's almost become more of a warning to me now than a promise. Once, I told spirit that I wanted to give that number intention. I said that I only wanted that number to mean he was coming back, as in, we will reconcile and be back in relationship together. I keep seeing it, but so far the experience has been off. So, idk. 

 

Personally, it's just taken me a lot of years and keeping track of when I see the numbers and what's going on around them to assign them any kind of meaning. Granddaddy died in 2012, so this has been a long process. I'd love to hear experiences from others!!

@Helena Very interesting story of your grandfather and perspective! I had not sat with the idea of angel numbers that are not just the the repeating number, but as I read your comment it hit me that I am drawn the 303 just as much as i am 333 or other repeatitions of the same number. It's interesting to think about now as both 0 and 3 can reflect a wholeness or unity. But the creativity and communal support of 3 holding up the ability of infinite possibility in 0 can't be ignored.

 

When my partner first moved in I was getting 222s everywhere, especially when they'd message me. Felt like the universe swiveling my head around to notice and acknowledge the love in my life, haha
