Honney Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 When I see 8 of cups, I feel desire - desire to leave. Depicted person left his well-known environment with a regret, because it was comfortable for this person for a while, I feel the sadness even this person made his decision.. But from my point of view, this card is quite positive, instead of thinking and moaning of million possibilities (7 of cups) he is leaving to final cup he decided to grab. Maybe he will turn and come back - nobody knows.
Thoughtful Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 To me this card always represents someone who is in a rut. The woman here looks weighed down with a sense of hopelessness. She has made her mind up at last to move away from the despair or depression that she feels. Its not always easy to move on, you can see the steps are quite big outside her doors. This indicates to me the big step she is taking and it will be difficult at first. The moon shines bright in the sky showing an anxiety but she is not under any illusion as to what she needs to do. Ahead of the path lies a tranquil body of water, it is still and peaceful. This stillness and peace is what she is looking for, and she has made up her mind to leave the old emotions behind her. Her cloak is red the colour of strength and energy which is wrapped around her. At last she moves her life forward.
