Trogon Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Hi everyone! I've done several readings for a friend using the Deviant Moon Tarot. They've been on a couple of different topics, but one card has now come up in 4 readings in some different positions. I'm looking for a reading that I might use to try to find out why the card is recurring. I was thinking I would pull the card in question as kind of a "significator", then do a reading built around it. Any suggestions?

Posted by Thirteen (http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=124587) Shuffle the deck well, break into 4 piles, one for each "suit" and aspect of your life: work/money (pents), family/relationships (cups), problems (puzzles to work out)/communications (swords), career/passions (wands). Go through the piles. The one pile which has most of the reoccurring cards will give you the topic of the message. If two piles have all the cards, then the message is a combo of those two topics (like money and your relationships). Next, take out all the re-occuring cards, lay them out according to how you found them (closest to the top of the piles, and first to last pile on down). See if you get a message reading them altogether now that you know the subject matter, or see if they make sense as past-present-future. If it's still a mystery, shuffle the remaining deck well, and ask "What is the message of these cards regarding my family/relationships (or whatever the topic was)?" Lay one card down on each of the cards you got, read them as you would clarification cards. If you're still stumped, take what you got on down to the "readings" section, where there will be many readers happy to help you hash out the reading and discover the message. Trogon Posted August 25, 2017 Author Posted August 25, 2017 Finally got a chance to do a reading on the card that has been coming up for my coworker. I used the one from CrackedAmethyst. It seemed to fit my style fairly well. It was a good reading and gave her some good answers about the card. Thank you both! (I'll keep notes on the others for when I need them though.)
