ANIMAL TOTEM TAROT?

I'm not sure this is the correct place to be asking, but if Im in the wrong spot, please move me :o

Does anyone here have the Animal Totem Tarot? Do you like it? I'm still looking for a nature/animal type of deck...I like colorful pics...I love mountains, water, trees and animals etc ;)

I just read it like your ordinary tarot,, it comes with an awesome book.. and if you were to make it your tarot bible (aka really hankered down and learned all the animals ) ..

 

that could add an extra depth to your reading that is for sure. 

as it stands i find the animal totem tarot works well alone ( with me i need a tarot decks that work with the waite system when i read at the pow wow/fair,, so this one  passed the test )

 

that said,, it just a beautiful deck. you really should like it.  i assuming you saw picture sof it on aeclectic tarot or in google images eh ?

I'm not sure where I saw it first, but then i looked it up on AT...I like the photos I've seen so far and the idea....I tried to see more on Amazon.ca, but pretty much the same photos shown...I likely will get it, feels like its along the lines of what I'm lookin for...

It is a wonderful deck!  It is a bit blunt though I find.  I'm not sure if you've seen all the images, but there are some representations of the darker side of nature, blood for example.  If you can handle that, it's otherwise really good.

PS/could you read reversals with it?

There’s an app of this deck if you’re interested. While I prefer physical decks, apes can be helpful for trying out a deck before getting the cards. The Steampunk Tarot app has been extreamly accurate for me. Having understanding of tarot cards beyond what information the app provides will allow for deeper and more detailed readings. Since I'm new to tarot, I like having the companion book on my phone so I don’t have to drag it arround in addition to the cards.

 

I don’t have the Animal Totem app, but all The Fool’s Dog apps I have are awesome. Something to consider. Good luck.

I prefer my animal decks to have animals with definite characteristics and behaviors that fit the card, and in my opinion, the creator of this deck did this wonderfully. The companion book is great that comes with the cards - some of the animals I wasn't very familiar with, and this helped quite a bit.

It’s a great deck - reads very well and the companion book is one of the best in my collection. It has lots of questions which really encourage reflection on the various meanings.

Well I did get the deck and its really nice, except the odd thing of animal with its kill etc...The book that comes with it is like a small novel...I got on Amazon and it was a good price...
