if cards don't have the playing cards on it, do you still like/use it ?

some of the lenormand before i started studying lenormand i loved due to the imagery..

 

but then i saw they don't have the playing cards anywhere on the images. (least the under the roses have it in the bottom right hand corner like kh for example ).  :o

and i wondered if should use it , or if i did ,,would i not be learning the lenormand depth  :-[

 

so i am looking at my wish list,, and the blue owl lenormand and the gina roberto lenormand don't have any playing cards on the cards  :'(

 

are you fine with it ? imagine if the tarot right at the beginning hard the astrology symbol on it,, then all the sudden the cards today didn't use it ?  :D

 

so what your verdict ?

If we'd come to the Lenormand 50 years ago, we'd expect the playing card thumbnail on them.

Now apparently anything goes. The standard acceptable Lenormand deck has sprouted wings and flew!

 

The problem I would have with the playing card insets would be that my mind would instantly transform them to tarot.
