The Good Tarot

I bought this last year when it was first published. A psychic in the bookstore gave it to me and said she intuitively felt this was the right deck for me. I wasn't captivated but thought...why not try it? It is by Collette Baron Reid. It is in tarot format but the thick booklet that comes with it gives affirmations for each card. It is a cross between a tarot deck and an oracle deck.

 

It has helped me connect spiritually to a power greater than myself called 'Spirit.' I have been agnostic of late. Not that that is wrong. Anyway The Good Tarot doesnt have any of the usual 'bad' cards. She puts a positive spin on the darkest cards without taking away the essential meaning. The images are beautifully colored soft fantasy themed and the backs are a gorgeous emerald green that looks antiqued. Has anyone else played with these?

I have the deck. I don't use it that often but every time I bring it out I tell myself I should use it more often. The artwork is beautiful and I like the positive energy of the deck.

 

I definitely agree with your take on Good Tarot being a cross between a tarot and oracle deck.
