Made it just in time to post the new Deck of the Week Thread  8)

VGimlet - Electric Tarot

I enjoyed my time with the John Bauer Tarot, and I will be using it again.  Even though it was more of an art deck than an art designed specifically for tarot deck I liked it enough to use it more in the future.

I hope everyone else had a great week.

We had a GREAT time at the dog show, the ring was on a bluff right above the ocean, so it was a gorgeous venue, and one of our favorite Oregon Coast destinations.  And I had enough time to play with my deck.    We stayed several days longer than we initially planned because it was so much fun, going down to the ocean with the dogs, hanging out with friends, having some time away from work....it was good.

I'm going to be using the Moon Power deck this week. I really want to use my fall decks already, but it's still stupid hot here in SoCal so I'm just going to crack into my newest deck.

I was wondering what you would think of the Bauer. I generally shy away from art decks, but I did enjoy this one. I wish such decks would list where the artwork came from (books, the names of paintings, etc.).

I am not a big fan of the art decks either - even when I like the artist enough to buy an art deck with them as the focus I rarely find them to be viable for real use.  But yeah, I agree, a explanation about the illustrations for this one would have been good.
