RavenOfSummer Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 I created this spread in thinking about themes related to spring and Beltane, although it can be used any time of year. But what was really fun about this to me is I based it on lyrics to a Led Zeppelin song! I feel like a lot of Zeppelin songs have deep and magical themes, so this might become a new thing for me 8) The song is - apologies in advance if this video doesn't play in your region! The lyrics that inspired me are these: "If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now- It's just a spring clean for the May Queen. Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on." I always thought these lyrics were really beautiful, and suggest the magic of Beltane and the presence of faeries, and the power they have to transform or show new things. The spread itself is a simple three-card layout. 1. Bustle in your hedgerow– Where is the magic in your life right now? 2. Spring clean for the May Queen– What is it showing you or changing in your life? 3. The road you’re on– Where will it lead you?
