Mystical Cats Tarot - Three of Earth

3 cats are looking at a large beetle on the ground. We can't see their facial expressions, but they seem to be calm and not aggressive or scared. 

The beetle is mostly green in color, with some gold and red patterns on its back and head.

 

 

Colors : The vivid green of the beetle catches the attention against the pale grey of the ground and the more toned down colors of the cats.

 

 

The book tells us that in fact, those cats are cooperating together to make the beetle leave their dwelling without having to hurt it or risking being hurt by it. The author points out that ''[p]roblems that seem insurmontable alone become manageable – and enjoyable – when you work together.'' So this card is basically promoting the benefits of teamwork, while showing how it's possible to find a way without the use of violence. (Which is unfortunately something often forgotten when people gang up together!)

 

 

Symbolism :

 

Number 3 (cats) : Symbolizes synthesis, vital force and positive energy.

 

Scarab beetle : Symbolizes eternity, creativity, imagination and cosmic forces, among other things.

 

Green color : Symbolizes growth, hope, life, rebirth, positive energy.

 

Gold and red (patterns) : Those colors are often used together to represent abundance.
