AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 I'm going with another week of Roots of Asia. We have just put carpet in and the house and deck repository is in uproar. New Earth is the only deck left for this rotation, plus I have the Spirit Keepers in hand, I may start the new year off with it. I'm sure it will make my brain sweat bullets.
VGimlet Posted December 8, 2018 Author Posted December 8, 2018 I'm in with the Tattoo Tarot by Megamunden this week. Also having a busy week, lots of stuff going on, not enough time and one has to sleep sometime, lol. Nothing too bad, just kind of....ack.
Bodhiseed Posted December 8, 2018 Posted December 8, 2018 Didn't get to use the Nature Spirit Tarot or the Australian Wildflower Oracle at all last week, so I hope to get a chance to take them for a spin this week.
VGimlet Posted December 15, 2018 Author Posted December 15, 2018 Tattoo Tarot was meh for me. The card stock was super-thick, and the images didn't catch me.
Bodhiseed Posted December 15, 2018 Posted December 15, 2018 VG, I was wondering how it compared to the Bonefire (which I think of as a tattoo deck). The Nature Spirit Tarot is wonderfully thought out for those who enjoy nature in all its forms. Some of my favorite cards this week: The Tower and the King of Cups.
VGimlet Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 I like the Bonefire better, but I wouldn't count out this deck if you like that style. I got a vaguely Aryan feel for all the court cards that kind of made me uncomfortable. But I'm a bit sensitive to that right now.
