Do you usually read for self-reflection, self-discovery, or divination? Do you usually do a daily read in the morning or evening, to see what the coming day may hold. Do you read to really just reflect on what's going on with you and your life and help you think of options you may have missed? If it's all of the above, is there something you particular look for in your readings?

So...when you read for yourself, what's literally in it for you?

I always say I don't read for myself because I really don't. However throughout the day I usually put out several spreads of 7 cards and just see what they say in general. Sometimes in doing this, though, I'll see a certain card keep circulating through most of the readings. If it's the Tower, I know for sure I'm going to be moving----again!!! The whole reading won't be for me. Just that darned Tower card as though it's taunting me.

I usually read for advice, which I don't always follow. ;)

I read for myself whenever I try to see the path, and a grey mist is obscuring it. If I don't get the required clarity, at least I discover what the source of the problem is. Timely, this: I did a reading for myself today,  and was informed that  forward motion isn't going to be possible right now. The opportunities just aren't there at the moment, but the advice concluded with "Don't get lazy. Now is not the time to sit around, even though the opportunities havn't arisen yet."  Now why couldn't the cards have told me to  just hang out for a few weeks, doing nothing except eating  lots of yummy Yule sweets?

Self reflection, self-discovery, to get a different point a view, and advice mainly.  Like Bookworm[/member] don't always listen like I should or follow it.  Shame on me!  X-D
