This spread popped into my head while I was thinking about a reading I wanted to do. The Sprouted Seed Tarot Spread is for when you have a new idea, or perhaps a new project that you wish to get some insight on how to nourish it and help it grow. It is based on the look of a newly sprouted seed as it begins to grow.

1) The Seed - What you need to know about the idea.

 

2) The Root - What will nourish the idea.

 

3) The First Leaf - The immediate future.

 

4) The Second Leaf - What is needed to keep the idea or project growing.

 

5) The Newest Bud - What will maintain the idea or project in the longer term.

 

Note: This is not meant to cover the entire life of a project or new idea for years to come. But rather, how to get things started and moving in the direction which you have envisioned.

 

If anyone tries this, please post to let me know how it worked. It doesn't really fit the reading I needed to do ...  ;D

Your spread gave me a very good reading! 

 

Just before the reading I had decided to read reversals (which up to now I hadn't done). So I rifle shuffled the cards and cut the pile without any regards to keep the cards facing the same way (which up to now I would have done). 

 

To my dismay, all cards in the reading appeared reversed! All of them! Including the one on the bottom of the deck - which I like to consult as well. 

 

So I took a deep dive into reversals - and the reading made complete sense precisely due to all cards being reversed! The upright meanings of this cards would have been complete bogus in my situation! 

 

The reading has indeed been very insightful and will give me a lot to think.
