gregory Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I have been following his website and - well, I know he has posted on FB, as someone told me ! The “Tarot Grand Luxe” is now up for preorder from his web site. http://www.ciromarchetti.com/tarot There's info there on design options and companion themed items. Please do view the promo video with a comprehensive overview of the the deck's look and style. Looks good to me. And his digital art is second to none, I think.
gregory Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 And not totally unaffordable. (Just NEARLY so... but you do get a custom bag....)
Bookworm Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 Yes, beautiful. I don't have any of his decks, so I probably deserve this one... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Trogon Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I reeeaaaallllly should not have watched that video. Or looked at his website. Or the cards. I really can't afford it right now. <sigh> Not to mention that I'd want to do readings with it and that would probably hurt the value of it. <double sigh>
Little Fang Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 I want to too but going to hold back. No money! As far as using and deck value, I only buy decks I'm gonna use eventually, and I'll riffle OOP decks. :-[

If you want to read with it - that IS its value. As a totally evil collector - I have never ever thought of my decks as investments; I use any of them I feel like (though the one where the gold paint has NEVER dried is a problem; luckily it's majors only ! I have to store it with tissues between the cards, and shuffle and draw fro another deck to use it to read...) Mind you I was looking for something for someone else on ebay last night. I could be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO rich.... (and I am talking about the listings of an excellent and honest seller who does not "bump up". I have so many of those decks... I will kindly not tell you the sellers' ID :)
MoonGypsy Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 i am not sure why, but CM's art no longer appeals to me like it once did... i can't quite put my finger on it...as i used to wait with bated breath for each deck to be released. But i only have one left [the original LE Tarot of Dreams] and that one is up for trade or sale. He is very talented, no doubt. and his color palettes are drool worthy... but,as i mentioned, i really don't know why i have lost interest.... i think it might be the same reason why i prefer Itzhak Perlman to Jascha Heifetz. Even though many consider Heifetz to be the greatest violinist of all time, it is Perlman who always moves me to tears...
