The Timeless Truth cracks me up with its fake beards and 'set' sceneries, but I have a soft spot for it because it was one of the first decks in my collection (and it also has a grand companion book).

But I'm liking the Illuminated Earth Oracle I am using so will go with it again. I'm going to do readings each lunar phase this year. That is my story and I'm sticking to it... Today is the new moon, I'll see what I can pull out of the oracle using Night Shade's Winter Tea spread. all that to say, Illuminated Earth Oracle thanks VG

I think they lost track of the market a long time ago. and I've paid for the Stolen Child and Little Secrets from kickstarter when ever they come. Gosh. OUtta control ;) Probably more a sign of no depression. Or $$ coming in from ebay listings.
KatieKeene Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 I usually use my RWS or Thoth cards to read with, but a few people have gifted me some rather interesting decks recently and I've decided to delve into them a bit more! My best friend found The Zombie Tarot at a garage sale a few months and decided I just had to have it! The art is so funny, 1950's style but with (obviously) lots of zombie gore to go along. Fun fun. They changed the disks suit to hazards. Only done one or two readings and we're still getting to know each other (so to speak) so can't say for sure how accurate the deck is, but I'm having a lot of fun in the meantime!

Between my computer having a major graphics card issue after I posted this, and our power going out Saturday night during the big windstorm, and then STAYING out for 3 1/2 days I was offline pretty much right after I posted the thread until late last night when I got home from work and my other half fixed my computer! I've been using the Demon-Possessed Tarot this week. Meh. It's interesting, but it doesn't speak to me. Hope everyone is having a good week with their decks.

Luckily my power wasn't out for too long but I know a couple people who had theirs out for 18-24 hours. Awful stuff. And graphics card issues too...sorry to hear it :( Also sorry to hear you're not feeling your deck. You think the bad ju-ju of all the other stuff going on is affecting it or just not digging the deck in general? I'm also kinda not feeling my deck. The images, while cool, are kinda disconnected from the meanings and make it a little hard to understand without reaching for the book every 5 seconds (which is annoying). To be fair though, based on the box it doesn't really seem like it takes itself too seriously, so I probably shouldn't have expected much.

VG, when we lived in Portland our power was out in an ice storm for 4.5 days. we put in a woodstove the following spring :) Our lines are underground here so when the power does go off it is a transformer so we get it back fairly quick. I love my cards SO much!

Luckily we have a small generator so we were able to keep the freezer frozen and the fish alive and charge the phones. But that was about it. :P No, this deck is just kind of "meh". But that's okay, plenty of good ones are out there!
