Scarlet Woodland Posted August 15, 2017 Posted August 15, 2017 Using two decks this week has turned out to be interesting, because they play off each other so well! They have similar voices but different strengths. Slow Holler is the firey one, the one I've ended up turning to when I need to ask "what can I do?" Thea's Tarot in contrast has been the watery one, the one I use to explore my emotions and boundaries. They end up making a pretty good team, especially for someone deep in the throes of activism. It's ridiculous to be saying this already... I mean, home made majors set aside, I've had the All Hallows for less than 48 hours... but I honestly think this is my favourite deck :o. It took the Mary-El a good year to take the Druidcraft's long held top spot and this lil thing has snuck in and taken it again. I can't explain it but it feels like home. It was my first tarot crush in all fairness but how often do first crushes work out? ;D But that's a good thing, right? My aforementioned Thea's Tarot was a holy grail for me and I was so happy that I clicked with it so well when it finally landed in my clammy hands... If I ended up being eh on it I think I would have been devastated. My first tarot crush is the Collective Tarot and I'm hoping that when (not if!) I finally get it, it doesn't end up being a letdown. I've caved and gone back to using two decks as well :D You're right, they always seem to find their own niche for the week and I often get to know them better that way. Sorry for being a pain in the butt this week VG :-[. Scarlet Woodland - All Hallows Tarot & The Wild Unknown Tarot It was really good to get a head start on the All Hallows though, I'm so relieved that I love it. It'll definitely be when not if for your tarot crush Lantana *wishes you a ridiculous ebay bargain*.
