on my quilting forum there is a little (arrow?) icon on a thread I've made a post to.

can I make that happen here?

 

I really limit my time online, and there is an area I'd like to keep better track of (new members) and scrolling through to see if I've said hey! takes time.

if I understand correctly:

When you look at the list of topics, in front of each topic there are two symbols, one that looks like pages of paper - the more pages the more posts in the topic, and the second one has a paperclip, diamon shape or other things.

If you look at the first page like symbol and there is a little smiley face at the bottom of this mini page, then you've posted in this thread.

can you see the little smiley face?

I see a paperclip and (!) I see the stack of papers w/a smile.  I'm losing my vision and I'd never have thought that was what I was not seeing. Or why a smily would even be there...since I'm a cynical crab.

The paperclip would be an attachment, right?

glad you have worked it out Sharyn, I learnt something new thanks Rupicapra!

 

 

It's in the first column on the forum post indexes, the first with a pin in the image is a pinned post, the normal one is just the page of paper and the one with a smiley face you have posted on in the past! The second column is the icon that the poster has picked for the post, so it can be pages of paper or any icon they want! But look out for the paper and smilies  :) :thumbsup:
