Bodhiseed Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 I'll be using an early birthday present: Brady Tarot paired with African American Wisdom Cards Thanks VG!
VGimlet Posted February 2, 2019 Author Posted February 2, 2019 I'll be using the Crow Tarot. I can't wait to use this and see how it is - I have an acquaintance who is a little bit into tarot and I've been looking for a Crow-themed deck for her for a long time. The Seattle Tarot was calling to me just a bit, but it can wait there in the corner with the other decks until it's turn. LOL. And you're quite welcome Bodhiseed!
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Pagan Otherworlds for me, thanks VG Anyone know the significance of the 5 moon cards or how they were suggested to be used?
Bodhiseed Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Pagan Otherworlds for me, thanks VG Anyone know the significance of the 5 moon cards or how they were suggested to be used? I don't have this deck, but since they represent the five phases of the moon cycle, I'm guessing they represent when something is growing, waning, etc.
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 hey, good catch. I'll put them in the deck then and if one comes up it would then be a clarifier for the next draw... I'm so dim sometimes.
Madame Squee Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Thank you for the thread, VG! X/ I'm in with the Antique Anatomy Tarot 2nd Ed.
Madame Squee Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 The Antique Anatomy Tarot (2nd Ed.) is a like a puzzle that I must solve. I don't think I can ever put it away and stop looking at it. The skeletons and bony parts freak me out, but I feel compelled to examine them, very carefully. :bugeyed: I need to tea-stain some white skeleton fabric that I have on hand and make an extra-special bag for it. I already stained the card edges with a desert sand color. Love, love, love it!!! <3
Bodhiseed Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 The Antique Anatomy Tarot (2nd Ed.) is a like a puzzle that I must solve. I don't think I can ever put it away and stop looking at it. The skeletons and bony parts freak me out, but I feel compelled to examine them, very carefully. :bugeyed: Just had a peek, and I see what you mean! It is freaky but makes me want to investigate the cards more. Too bad they have sold out. :(
Madame Squee Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 I didn't realize they sold out. I traded for this deck. The one I really, really want is the Antique Anatomy Tarot - Ephemera Edition. But I haven't been able to find it.
