Confused about how to post

In the rules it says I must make 5 posts in order to post in the exchange section.  Can I just make 5 posts here on my own thread?

Hi Fizzy. The 5 post minimum is mainly to avoid spamming. Especially to take part in the Tarot exchange section.

Most people use our lovely introductions thread to tell the other members a bit about themselves, this is a nice way to get the 5 posts together.

I was going to reply but Rupicapra and Raggydoll ninja'd me!  Typically people make an introduction thread and post on that:

We hope new members browse the forum and get familiar with the members and knowledge we offer.  But you do have your post count now so you will  be able to post in the exchange.  I do hope you still post an introduction, that way we can officially greet you!
