Hemera Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Everyday Witch Tarot (D.Blake & E.Alba 2017 Llewellyn) Knight of Swords “Warrior” Description: A hot-headed young warrior is riding his broom with his sword raised. He has scattered a flock of black birds who try to escape the best they can. Their black feathers are flying about around them. The young man looks very determined and a little aggressive. From the Book (Everyday Witch Tarot, Llewellyn 2017): -Ready or not, here I come! Get out of the way! -He’s all about movement, more so than the other Knights -Capable ally, determined and focused -Remember that he is hard to stop once he gets going Associations (idea from a book by Mary Greer) Plant: cactus Animal: ram Landscape: battle field, desert Music: heavy metal Art: kubism Body of Water: fountain Traditional meanings (Mary K. Greer): -Courageous, skilful, competitive -Hasty, frank and direct -Brave, full of ideas -Slays as he creates (-may indicate death if close to other cards of fatality, says Greer!) This card encourages: -Creativity, chasing ideas -champion those in need -lead a crusade Warns against: -Fanatism, chasing ideas -Rebelling without a cause -Insensitivity and ruthlessness -Impulsive mistakes Notes: -This card is very much like I’ve always imagined this court to be; more or less a hot headed teen (or teen energy) with a one track mind
