Hemera Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Everyday Witch Tarot (D.Blake & E.Alba 2017 Llewellyn) Page of Swords “Initiator” Description: A young man has thrown his books and his broom to the side and grabbed his sword. He is raising his sword towards the sky, but he is still a bit uncertain about his cause (especially compared to the Knight). He is standing on the ground and not moving anywhere (unlike the Knight who is moving fast) Images, symbolism, colours: Books and a white feather next to them. The colours are mild, mainly denim blue and beige. He is dressed in soft blue jeans and shirt From the Book (Everyday Witch Tarot, Llewellyn 2017): -He may be a little too smart for his own good -He is a mixture of enthusiasm and uncertainty Associations (idea from a book by Mary Greer) Animal: weasel, polecat Landscape: suburb Music: rap Art: graffiti Body of Water: brook Traditional meanings (Mary K. Greer): -Bringer of news (esp. troubles or dangers) -Clever, likes mental challenges This card encourages: -Try out new ideas and technologies -prepare to respond quickly to new situations -challenge your mind with something requiring wit or dexterity -protect your position, stand your ground Warns against: -exploiting or hurting others -spying other’s secrets, gossiping -being paranoid Notes: I don’t think he is as tough as he thinks! He is dressed in very soft shades of blue, denim jeans and shirt and he has got soft long curls. Looks like he is trying out a new role he has picked somewhere but he is still experimenting with that role to see if it’s really him.
