NekoShinkan Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hi all! Look forward to improve my knowledge about Tarot generally. Now in the process of getting familiar with the forum ;) How often do you use your Tarot cards and how do you keep them?
Guest Night Shade Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hello and welcome, NekoShinkan[/member] ! I love your avatar, it's so cute. :kitty:.
AJ-ish/Sharyn Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 welcome home Neko! I use my cards every day, on my blog less often in readings, my life is pretty mundane. I keep boxed sets on a shelf like books and the single decks in a drawer. Easy Peasy.
bookshop Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hi NekoShinkan[/member]! It depends on the deck — I have some decks I use very frequently and some I don't use nearly enough and only take out to admire every now and then. But I've been trying to do readings more and i like to let the querant pick the deck they want, so that tends to push me out of my deck comfort zone. (Why! Is everyone! So obsessed! With the ophidia rosa! Don't they know it contains no symbolism! ahaha.) I store my decks out in the open next to my desk because I like to have them close at hand, but some of them are having issues with warping so maybe I need to rethink this decision :/ How about you?
NekoShinkan Posted March 5, 2019 Author Posted March 5, 2019 Thank you all for your warm welcome :kitty: (oh I love this smiley) I kept my decks in a shelf. One of them is also having issues of warping! Do you have tips for preventing this and how to recover it ? bookshop[/member] I had to google about Ophidia rosa. Now I know what you mean, hehe
bookshop Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 NekoShinkan[/member] I made a thread for my deck-warping problems over here! https://www.thetarotforum.com/talking-tarot/deck-warping/ I'm not sure there's a consensus on how to deal with it yet, though. I tried putting one of my decks in a tight bookshelf last night but idk if it helped.
