I am Alraundelberin, 34F &  I am an academician in one of the major uni.s in Turkey.

 

Tarot has become a passion for about 1,5 year for me although I have been always interested in it and I had a RWS deck at home like forever.

 

Tarot has changed many things in me and still I am discovering hundreds of new things whenever I study them and I can see that what they say is true:  with Tarot you're forever a student.

 

Despite my interest, I have been very shy when it comes to read for others.

Being in the academia, I tend to do things according to the book and I have to be accurate, eloquent and well-educated to be "ready".  So being a perfectionist doesn't help at this point.

 

I have found this community a couple months ago when I typed google search "tarot forum" ! So I hope this is the place for what I am looking for..

 

I am interested in many different decks but lately I love Thoth based systems and my latest favorite deck is Tarot of The Spirit by Pamela Eakins. Although people don't like the artwork at the beginning I think it is a deck well-worth to give a chance.

We have lots of places where you can exchange if you want with others. There is the exchange area where you can get readings for others for feedback and give readings to others for feedback. We also have Circles each month where you sign up (they start in the first week of each month) and you are paired with a partner and you read and give each other feedback on the spread of that month. It's great for practising here :)

 

You need to get to the next membership level to post in exchange areas which needs 5 posts outside of the introductory area., this opens up exchanges and you can private message people. So browse the forum and take part to get up to that :)

 

We have so many different readers here, from academic to really intuitive, all styles are here! I am also a perfectionist in my readings but sometimes its nice to post a reading as it comes (and stop myself from editing and editing) and see what my partner thinks of it  ;D welcome here  :heartz:

Welcome home Alraundelberin! It took me a long time to embrace the Thoth decks, but now I prefer them. The Eakins deck is a special favorite.

Thoth requires even more time to learn but after meeting it, there is no going back!
