8 of cups

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've just got this revelation around the tarot card 8 of cups - especially the image from Rider Waite.

At the website www.learntarot.com one can find the keywords for the card to be Deeper Meaning - Moving On - Weariness.

I saw myself as a deep water fish - communicating with light. I have a ladyfriend who asks me every time I struggle if she should light a candle for me, and strange enough it helps. The Salvation Army has a christmas donation show on TV the name "A light in the dark".

I thought it just was an expression about hope, but now I believe it's also actually about lighting a candle in a dark room.

I did a Tarot Shadow Work (book by Christine Jette) reading with a so-called "Star of discovery" about an old friend of mine who my buddies use to call "The Snake". He visited me some time ago, but he makes me full of fear. When I talked to him on the phone, I got emotionally pain afterwards. I could clearly sense it was from him.

The Tarot Shadow Work showed that he wasn't named "The Snake" by coincident - the cards also showed that his "secrecy" was The Devil.

His "anxiety" though was the card 8 of cups. So I thought that The Devil is afraid of the deep, and a light in the darkness - literary speaking!

So fight The Devil with 8 of cups - and light a candle in a dark room!

Since 2 have already read the post above, I make a new one.

You see - I just got another revelation.

This might be more under the witchcraft section, but I thought of a dream I had about the queen and princess here, and found out that the candle should be placed on a flat rock. (Light at rock bottom).
