Attachments

I was going to add an attachment to a post I did a bit ago, but couldn't see how to do so. Is this not available yet? I did see the "insert image" button, but I wasn't sure how that worked - is it just to insert an image from the web? If that's the case, I'm guessing that you would have had to post the image somewhere else, then post the URL to it in between the "img - /img" commands. If that's the case, do you know if I could post a link to an image on my Deviant Art page?

At the moment I'm keeping it off until I'm sure I have the resources enough to run the place.  They do take up space!  :)

Feel free to link to external sources.  DA is great!  Also I recommend Imgur.

 

I anticipate opening up attachments in the future, but I'm keeping an eye on the growing pains the place might have first.  Thanks for coming to me!

I apologize!  I do not have an apple device I can try this on, however perhaps somebody else will see this and know how to do it.  I might suggest Tapatalk, I think you can attach through there.

Hi LF. I just tried again to post an attachment, but I'm still not able to. Under the "Attachments and other options" thing at the bottom, it only opens the check-boxes ("Notify me of replies.", "Return to this topic." and "Don't use smileys."). Am I not finding the right thing to click on? (Using my laptop, running Windows 7 home premium, SP! and using IE 11).

It was a permissions issue and it should now be fixed for all members
