Does anyone have experience with the Tea Leaf Oracle Cards?

Especially when it comes to different ways of reading with them?

How do you read them :)

There are many cards and it's slightly overwhelming in their quantity but for many years on AT they were voted the most accurate oracle! You need to use a a few of them in each position but they give great readings. I think they are one of the best divination systems for calendar type readings, do the calendar spread in the book, do about 4 circle cards for each month and you get a good prediction of the year if you are into predicting spreads :)

I do think it works best with 3 or 4 cards to read as the message for one position though.

On AT we had a circle using them between about 10 of us I think, it lasted a month or so and we did many different readings for each other, it is really accurate! For working out what is coming it is excellent!

DownUnderNZer[/member] also did some amazing readings on AT at the time with them and used a card as the key theme or significator and gave me an astounding reading at the time or a series of readings I think it was. For predicting readings use a few cards and some positions but if you want to ask on a topic or question, it worked so much better to direct the reading energy using a key theme card. There is a spread I seem to remember in the book like a pyramid with the theme card at the top of it.

If you want to exchange with it, I would love to get mine out and give it a dust! Just wait until this holiday is currently over  <3

I am glad to have it in my collection, it is my go to for calendar or predictive readings but I find it a pain to get it out and manage using them! It's cumbersome and a huge box to store ;D

You have a wonderful journal using the Tea Leaf Oracle!  I have the deck too but haven't even touched it yet.

I do hope to work with it soon!

Awww thank you but I'm not sure they like me just lately I haven't been writing. I've been told by someone on here that they're very literal.

[emoji4] Hopefully we can help each other.

I'd happily exchange with you Daniel [emoji4] if the options open for any one.

You've been using them a lot.  Try cleansing them.  They just might need to be freshened up!  :heartz:

As it fits in with whispers spread if you ever need tips on how to cleanse them, I've sorted mine out in alphabetical order and reorganised the whole deck. I also tapped it 3 times held in my left hand. Placed them out side as I was doing this to get some fresh air,  left them sat on the window cill with a quartz and amthest on them.

I don't know if I can give much advice but maybe try reading them like lenormands in combinations as you often have to check for connecting cards.

Also saturn gave me a lovely idea I believe off pulling an angel card along side them and it does work [emoji3590][emoji176].

I would also suggest to take them literal but think out side the box. Like waiting for a package or a letter could be literally just waiting for something you've ordered.

I also have this deck and love it.  Not a deck I pull out often, as it is a bit overwhelming with so many cards.  240 + I believe?  I forget the exact number--but A LOT and as a result, it takes a lot of room to read with.

I use this deck mostly to do a calendar reading, (the deck does have cards that have each month labeled on a separate card), which is often great to do in December for the coming year.  However, you can actually do this anytime and you don't have to do the full year.  I really don't use it to read just with 3 or 4 cards--for me this is the type of deck that I feel is best used when you're asking about something long term.  but, this is just my preference and not really a necessity.  So, I often do this as Christmas gifts for others, which is always a well received gift (to those whom I know like to get readings).

One thing that I do like about it is that its a great intuitive deck.  This is one of those decks that you don't need to think about what that card means.  It allows for your intuition to do be a big part of the reading, and the more you use it, the better your intuition becomes.

I have seen right from the beginning of using this fine deck, that it is very accurate.  I use to gift my top returning customers a Christmas gift each year by doing a predictive 'calendar' year for the next year coming, which was always very well received.  (I also gift it to other family and friends).  The customers often would call me for another reading with this deck, as they see the accuracy in the readings with it.   Pretty much everyone I ever read with this deck has been amazed with the accuracy--so I give it a big A+ for that!

The only thing that is a bit of a drawback in it is the number of cards in the deck.  However, I also understand that it truly also needs this many cards - which adds to its accuracy.  It also took me awhile to get use to the circle cards--but at least they are small and so still somewhat easily handled.  However, you really need room for laying out the cards and luckily, I have a fairly large dining room table.  So definitely not one you'd pull out to use for a quick read on the coffee table.  And as a result of this, it is not a deck to take with you when you travel.

The other drawback to this deck is the box it comes in.  I purchased my first deck (from original printing) used, and while the cards were in top shape, the box was well worn and it has since fallen apart even more.  Its all taped together and just isn't the best box for keeping so many cards in.

Overall, this deck is great for readings and for increasing your intuition as well!  LOVE IT!

Oh the calendar reading is a great idea!  And thank you so much for your input on this deck!  I'm sure it will help others checking this deck out. :redheart:

After speaking about this deck, I had to bring it back out again and spend some time with it.  Doing so reminded me just how special this deck is.  I think sometimes you can tell when a deck--tarot or oracle, is a true labor of love and this is one of those decks.  I'm going to do my best to play with it and my other decks a bit more often! So glad this deck was asked about or mine may still be on the shelf in the closet with lots of other things piled on top of it.
