Is love in the stars?

Hi guys, happy to be in this forum.

I wanted to share a spread I tried from the shadowscapes tarot book. It could be used for a new job, friendship...

The combination of cards was really interesting, let me know what you think.

*****5*****

3*********4

***1***2***

1. READY: This card represents a way in which you are ready for love to come into your life.

2. OR NOT: This card shows a way that you are not ready for love. To draw love into your life, consider this card carefully.

3. DO IT: Turn to this card for advice on a step you can take to put yourself in the path of love.

4. STOP IT: Consider this card as a warning about something you actively do to block love from your life.

5. OUTCOME: This is your answer. If it is positive and love is in the stars, paying attention to cards 2 and 4 will only make things better. If the answer is negative, work on the issues in cards 2 and 4, and strengthen the energy noted in cards 1 and 3. Then try this spread again and see if you haven't created a better outcome.

A very interesting spread! I like how it works back to the cards based on the outcome card. I have been finding that pentagram-shaped spreads are very useful and create a very interesting flow of energy between the cards.

I really like to use spreads like this one, where you get to see 'both sides of the coin'. I usually use a 3-card spread with the positions 'the situation now', 'do this' and 'don't do this', but this one is taking it a step further, which could be a plus in more complex situations.

Good idea to post this spread, Sunnyside!  :)

I know it and have tested it many times. I like it because it is not really about if, how and when we will find love, but more about introspection. Very often it was on point with me, telling me why i was not ready and what were my problems with love and relationships. At the same time it balances well the pros and cons

It is a very nice spread indeed, the cards I pulled made me get into an instrospective mood... and I agree with you that the pentagram shape gives a very interesting energy to the spread.

What I like the most about this spread it that even when the outcome is negative, you know where you have to put more effort. It gives you a very good insight.

I totally agree with you, it makes you think about what type of energy you've been putting into motion, makes you more aware. I pulled the two of swords for the Do it... it made me stop and reflect on my behaviour, fears, wants and needs.

Glad to share this spread here.
