Two-card spreads

Featured Replies

I'm looking to add some two-card spreads to my repertoire...anyone have favorites? :)

2 card spreads are my faves, but I hardly know any, haha

I found one on instagram recently that's "change-remain," to help you figure whats working and what isn't. Its fairly broad, but I think I'm going to use that as my general daily pull.

I do one almost daily I just call See - Do

It might be losely inspired of Dan Pelletiers Window-Door though.

Oh I like that one! Thanks for sharing. Yes I've been really drawn to them recently- short and to the point is sometimes exactly what you need. Hopefully people will post more of them :)

This seems like a useful one jema. So is the idea that "See" is how you're really seeing a situation and "Do" is the action you should take as a result of that? Great spread, thanks for sharing.

My default when reading for others is two cards, but without specific positions. Most often the first card is the substance of the message and the second is something like a qualifier, or similar to noun + adjective (à la Lenormand).

Now and then it reads differently, for example:

= present + future;

= you (sitter) + what's around ("in the air");

= situation + should do (OR need OR something else);

= just occasionally, the two cards read as a pair balanced *completely* equally.

For myself, I have learnt never to read without positions because I can't trust my intuition not to be influenced by my involvement. But I can't remember that I've ever done a two-card reading for myself! :D But I like the keep/change one, I mean change/remain, posted by Queen of Nothing, that will be very useful.

I like how versatile your thinking is around this Mand! Must try this, thanks :D
