What is your favourite type of three cards spread?

Mine is past, present and future.

My usual go-to 3-card spread is : situation/issue, what I should do, what I should'nt do.

For concerns:

Situation - Action - Outcome

For relationships:

Querent - Other Party - State of Relationship

For most of the 3-card readings I do, I lay them out in a horizontal line;  1 - 2 - 3

For me, I would say the "Issue - Blockage - Advice" spread is one of my favorites. For dealing with something on a daily basis, I've been using a slight modification of "Issue - Blockage - Contemplate" (where the "contemplate" card is something I can keep in mind when feeling weak regarding the issue).

Others that I particularly like are;

Learn - Forget - Do

Past - Present - Future  (although, I usually do 5-cards for PPF readings)

I will also kind of make things up as I go, depending on what kind of issue the querent has asked about.

Same here, I often use a 4-card Past, Present, Near Future, Far Future spread instead of the 3-card standard

Here's a daily one I like:

Head, Heart and Hands Spread:

1. What do I need to know today?

2. What do I need to embrace today?

3. What do I need to do today?

No named positions, other than the center card being the focus. Read the line and the reflections.

Darn it! I posted the spread to the wrong thread. Sorry about that everyone!

I like Bodhiseed's daily 3-card, must try that tomorrow.

My favorite 3 card spread is pretty much the same as Trogon's.

Situation-Challenge-Path

For these 3 card spreads, I often ask a yes or no question, use the 3 card spread like the one above, and if 2 cards are upright, the answer is yes (then the cards offer further guidance) and if 2 are reversed, the answer is no.

Of course, if you don't use reverses, then this won't work.

But I use that A LOT and they've always been spot on.

My go-to is Situation / Action / Outcome. Pretty standard but it works! Definitely going to try out some of those other ones though. ;D

The Bridge spread (I'll have to look up where I got it):

1--- 3--- 2

1. Current situation

3. How to get there

2. Desired outcome

You can select both 1 and 2 face-up, and then shuffle and put down the bridge in the middle; or you could even select that one face-up, too.
